Over the past 12 weeks, these eighteen emerging artists have explored new mediums and developed their artistic practices with the support of local queer artists and museum mentors. This included soft sculpture, printmaking, sustainable fashion, 16 mm film, miniature diorama, and performance. Their work—bold, thoughtful, and deeply personal—comes together in this culminating exhibition.
10-Year Anniversary
To commemorate this year, we created a rural workshop in partnership with Encircle St. George where students created work to be included in a zine (short for magazine) along with work from the current cohort, alumni, mentors, and the program’s creator, L-E. This zine was designed and published locally by Riso Geist.
