James Talbot: I Spent the Last Year Learning to Love Green

I Spent the Last Year Learning to Love Green is a love letter to a partner and a practice. Photographs and text are interwoven to form the narrative of a relationship as both an attempt to recapture the excitement of its earliest moments as well as a sober rumination on things to come. This exhibition is an expansion of a book project of the same name; moving from the page to the exhibition space, the show also becomes an investigation of material and a photograph’s metaphysical relationship to the physical objects it depicts.
