This student exhibition features work by artists aged 8-14 who participated in the Museum’s Artist-in-Training camp. Throughout the summer, the artists experimented with new mediums, toured current exhibitions, and collaborated together, letting their imaginations take them to new creative heights.
The theme Head in the Clouds was inspired by the importance of imagination in childhood and the freedom to continue dreaming and creating. Museum mentors helped students consider the role of empathy and curiosity in art-making, leading to brave experimentation and breakthroughs. In addition to their individual works, the 27 students collaborated on large-scale pieces, forming a landscape of what we might see if our heads were in the clouds.
We invite you to tap into your inner child and imagination and take a journey into the sky through hot air balloons, a flock of friendly pigeons, and raindrops made of paint!

Este exhibición estudiantil presenta obras de artistas de entre 8 y 14 años que participaron en el campamento de Artista en Formación del Museo. A lo largo del verano, los artistas experimentaron con nuevos medios, recorrieron exhibiciones actuales y colaboraron juntos permitiendo que sus imaginaciones los llevaran a nuevos alturas creativas.
La tema Cabeza en las nubes esta inspirado por la importancia de la imaginacion en el infancia y la libertad para seguir soñando y creando. Los mentores del Museo ayudaron a los estudiantes considerar el papel de la empatía y curiosidad en la creación artística, lo que llevó a valientes experimentos y descubrimientos. Además de sus obras individuales, los 27 estudiantes colaboraron en piezas a gran escala, formando un paisaje de lo que podríamos ver si tuviéramos la cabeza en las nubes.
Los invitamos a conectar con su niño interior y su imaginación, y a embarcarse en un viaje al cielo a través de globos aerostáticos, una bandada de palomas amigables y gotas de lluvia hechas de pintura.
