Susana Silva and Gonzalo Silva

Join us for an evening with artists Gonzalo Silva and Susana Silva in conjunction with their exhibition Instrumentos de silencio, currently on view at the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art.

Traveling from Buenos Aires to Salt Lake City, the artists will present their work through images and discussion, offering insight into their distinct yet complementary practices. The conversation will be moderated by journalist Amy Ortiz (Deseret News), followed by a Q&A with the audience.

After the panel, visitors are invited to move into the gallery for a shared viewing of the exhibition, accompanied by live music performed by an Argentine musician.

This program offers a rare opportunity to hear directly from the artists about the ideas, research, and methods shaping Instrumentos de silencio, and to experience the exhibition in an expanded, multisensory way.
