At this month’s Workshop Walk-In, we’re experimenting with alternative lithography using everyday materials.

Participants will draw a 5” × 7” image on foil using oil pastels, use soda to chemically etch the surface, and run it through the press to produce prints. The process allows for multiple impressions, so you’ll leave with a small edition rather than a single image.

The resulting prints can stand on their own as artworks, or be used as cards, book elements, or components in larger projects. No prior printmaking experience required—just curiosity and a willingness to try something slightly unconventional.

All materials provided. Drop in, make something, and connect with other makers.

This workshop was designed with adults in mind, but is suitable for ages 13 and up.
