Artists Against the Bomb opens Friday, October 16, 2026.
May 5, 2026 11 AM–12:15 PM
Flow Share Yoga brings together gentle movement, live improvisational sound, and close looking. Guided by Kellie St. Pierre with live sound by Josiah Pugmire, this all-levels, disability-friendly session invites participants into an embodied encounter with art.
Each class centers a work from UMOCA’s current exhibition. This session focuses on Jim Frazer’s Glyph works—large-scale sculptures derived from the intricate trace patterns of wood-boring beetle larvae. Transformed and illuminated with copper leaf, these forms echo hieroglyphs, suggesting a language that feels both meaningful and unknowable. Moving alongside these works, participants are invited to consider how meaning emerges through pattern, repetition, and transformation. The session concludes with a conversation with the artist.
Participants should bring a yoga mat, towel, and water. Accessibility requests are welcome—please contact us in advance.
