Artists Against the Bomb opens Friday, October 16, 2026.
Aug 10, 2025 3–5 PM
Celebrate the culmination of Fieldworks: Green River at a public art opening hosted at the John Wesley Powell River History Museum. This free event invites community members of all ages to view sculptures created by participating artists during a week of exploration, reflection, and hands-on making with found and repurposed materials.
The evening will also feature a free, space-themed art activity for kids and families to create together onsite—offering a playful, imaginative extension of the workshop’s themes.
Presented by the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art, Fieldworks: Green River connects artists with the ingenuity and landscape of rural Utah. Join us to experience the work, meet the artists, and take part in a shared creative moment under Green River’s expansive skies.
