From 11-2, join UMOCA for a FREE workshop collaboration with Sprung from the Land, a workshop series that creates culturally sustaining spaces that highlight the linguistic and cultural voices of our community.

This month, Sprung from the Land presents ‘Pacific Island Art-Design & Motifs’ wherein ​performance artist and educator Haviar Tuitama Hafoka will teach participants about the design & motifs of the Polynesian Islands. Participants will create patterns of the Pacific to deeper understand their meaning and symbolism.

Prior to the workshop, join Haviar and his family for a performance. To take place in the Education Studio starting at 11.
