Join Artist Sarah May with Making Waves for Great Salt Lake Artist Collaborative, for a lake-facing art workshop. Everyone will create species-specific puppets of some of the creatures that rely on the Great Salt Lake (Pia Apaa) and her ecosystem, and make some cyanotypes using plants and oolitic sand from Great Salt Lake and water and plants from Jordan River (Pia Owkai). We will also create some group fabric cyanotypes which will be a part of community art Making Waves will be used as a part of art advocacy for the 2025 vigil for Great Salt Lake.
