Taking inspiration from Altered States in the Acid West, this workshop invites you to reimagine the classic bolo tie as a personal, playful object of assembly and expression. Using an eclectic mix of trinkets, fabric, yarn, beads, googly eyes, and other unexpected materials, participants will design and build their own wearable piece from scratch.
All materials will be provided, but you’re also welcome to bring a small personal object or keepsake to incorporate into your design—something that adds a layer of meaning, memory, or mischief to your finished piece.
This workshop is designed with adults in mind and offers a relaxed, open-ended space to make, experiment, and connect with other participants.
