The Utah Museum of Contemporary Art believes in the power of the art of our time. Through programming, advocacy, and collaboration, we work with artists and communities to build a better world.

Nancy Rivera

Nancy Rivera is a Salt Lake City based artist. Her work investigates how craft media and technology shape our experiences and understanding of what we classify and perceive as the natural world. She explores the dichotomy between the real and the artificial, employing nature as a motif and a metaphor through photography and three-dimensional works. She received her MFA from the University of Utah in 2016.
