Cara Krebs’s work takes an earnest, celebratory approach to desire and wonder. Fantasy and sensually indulgent material mingle with the mundane in installations, paintings, and hybrids of media that examine loca tions between worlds, physical and imagined. As the Overall Outstanding Graduate Cara received her BFA from Weber State University. In 2013 she completed her MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, receiving the John Quincy Adams Fellowship. She has shown locally and nationally in locations including Chicago, Kansas City, Fort Lauderdale, and Denver. Cara is an adjunct professor at Weber State University. She lives in Salt Lake City with her lemon tree and her bird, Crocodile.
