AIR Program

Utah artists will be selected primarily based on demonstrated artistic potential, commitment to working in a contemporary idiom, willingness to participate in a robust and intellectually-engaged community of artists, and readiness to devote the time necessary to advance their professional careers to the next level.

Projects Gallery

UMOCA’s Projects Gallery is an exhibition space within the museum dedicated to the exhibition of work by Utah-Located in the front of the building, the Projects Gallery is the first exhibition room that visitors encounter when coming UMOCA. Dedicated solely to exhibitions by contemporary artists living in Utah, this gallery will provide a professional exhibition experience for the artist(s), will allow for greater visibility of local artists’ work, and will help promote local artists to patrons of the arts outside of Utah as well.
